Return Order and Credit Memos#
Return Order#
Should the case arise that a customer complains about the delivered items, the return order process can be started from within the project.
To do this, select the corresponding project plan line and choose Create Sales Return Order via the ribbon.
A page will open where you can make the following options:
Field | Description |
---|---|
Create new Document | Specify whether you want to create a new document or append the position to an existing document. |
Archive existing document | If the document is to be append to an existing document, it is recommended to activate the toggle. The existing document is archived again beforehand when activated. |
Document date | Specify which document date the return order should receive. |
Append to Sales Document No. | If you want to add to an existing return order (Create new Document = No), you can specify the document to be updated here. Determine to which document you want to assign the selected lines. A list of possible documents is showed for this purpose. |
Line Arrangement | Specify here whether a row outline should be created when a new document is created. Options: • Empty • Sum • Bundle • Heading When adding documents, you will not be offered the choice and the outline type of the existing document will be kept. |
Confirm your selection with "Ok".
Credit Memos#
Independent of a complaint process, you also have the option of creating a value credit via a project plan line.
To do this, select the corresponding project plan line and call up Create Sales Credit Memo.
A page will open where you can make the following options:
Field | Description |

Create New Credit Memo | Specifies if the batch job creates a new sales credit memo. |
Posting Date | Specifies the posting date for the document. |
Document Date | Specifies the document date. |
Append to Credit Memo No. | Specifies the number of the credit memo that you want to append the lines to if you did not select the Create New Credit Memo field. |
