Where Used Buffer Lines Incl. Stockkeeping Unit#
The Where Used Buffer Lines function enables you to quickly identify in which production bills of materials an item is used. In addition, the function shows the relevant Stockkeeping Unit for the item.
To check an item, first open its item card. Then, you can access the Where Used Buffer Lines from the ribbon (Related → Bill of Materials → Production → Where Used Buffer Lines (Production)). Alternatively, it is possible to open the page directly from the ribbon for the variant of the respective item.
Where Used Buffer Lines (Production)#
At the header of the Where Used Buffer Lines (Production) page, you will find source filters that indicate from which part of the system the page was opened.

Level 1 - Type: Production BOM These are all parent production bills of materials in which the item is included. Level 2 - Type: Stockkeeping Unit These are the stockkeeping unit records to which the production bill of materials is assigned. |

| Starting Date | Specifies the start date of the component of the selected item in the production bill of materials. The starting date of the production bill of materials version is shown for production bill of materials versions. |
